Left Broken, But Not Alone: This Pup Is Fighting for Her Life
She was found lying motionless on the side of the road, her tiny body battered and broken, both front legs crushed and bloodied. No name, no collar, no one searching for her. Just a silent soul trying to hold on in a world that had turned its back on her.
We don’t know how long she lay there. Hours? Days? The pain must have been unbearable. But somehow, she survived long enough for a stranger to finally stop, scoop her up, and rush her to safety.
When she arrived at the vet, she was barely breathing. Her legs were shattered—both front limbs needed immediate stabilization. The wounds were deep, infected, and raw. She had likely been hit by a car and left for dead. And yet, as she lay on that cold metal table, something incredible happened—
She opened her eyes.
That moment changed everything.
We saw in her eyes a flicker of strength. A soft, quiet plea:
"Please… don’t give up on me."
And we won’t.
She’s now stabilized, but her journey is far from over. Both front legs have been splinted, and she’s on strong painkillers and antibiotics to fight the infection. She will need X-rays, surgery, and weeks of rehab just to have a chance at walking again. And even then—we’re not sure how much function will return.
But we owe it to her to try.
This sweet girl didn’t ask for this suffering. She didn’t deserve the pain, the fear, or the abandonment. What she deserves now is love, care, and the chance to heal.

The Pawheaven Foundation Emergency Medical Grant program assists Pawheaven members in caring for ONE PET in need of emergency medical care to become adoptable. Eligible expenses may include but are not limited to emergency care for accidents resulting in broken bones, poisoning, car accident, laceration, foreign object ingestion, surgeries for hip and elbow dysplasia, cherry eye, extensive dental surgery, tumor, cancer, mass removal, cleft lip/palate, glaucoma, and epilepsy.
